Wedding vows were exchanged by Brooke Badinger and Miles Mattern in a Aug. 20, 2011 ceremony at Illahe Hills Country Club in Salem, Or. Bruce and Tami Badinger of Salem are the parents of the bride. The groom is the son of Jeff and Jeanie Mattern of Lake Oswego. Miles and Brooke celebrated with 240 family and friends at a cocktail hour, dinner and dance following the ceremony. The couple is residing in their first home in Portland after a honeymoon on the Mayan Riviera. The bride is a graduate of Oregon State and Concordia Universities and is a teacher in the Parkrose School District. The groom is a graduate of Oregon State University and is a Senior Recruiter for Health One Staffing.

Bruce and Tami Badinger of Salem, Ore., are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Brooke Badinger, to Miles Mattern, son of Jeff and Jeanie Mattern of Lake Oswego, Ore. Brooke and Miles graduated in 2006 from Oregon State University and Brooke obtained her master's in teaching in 2010. Brooke is currently employed in the Parkrose School District and Miles is the Senior Recruiter for Health One Staffing in Portland, Ore. The ceremony and reception will take place Aug. 20, 2011, at Illahe Hills Country Club in Salem, Ore.
