Get up close and personal!
Charlyn Johnson and Kyle Dalvit will wed in July at the Cutting Garden in Sequim, Wash. Charlyn is the daughter of Lynn and Sherry Johnson of Spokane and is a graduate of East Valley High School. Ms. Johnson has degrees from the University of Washington in Spanish and speech communication. She taught English with WorldTeach in Chile before earning a Master in Teaching from Whitworth University. She teaches Spanish at RA Long High School in Longview. Dalvit is the son of Rik Dalvit and Christine Craven of Bellingham. He graduated with a BA in English from Whitman College and played basketball in Germany for two seasons before obtaining a Master in Teaching from Western Washington University. Dalvit teaches at Burlington-Edison Hing Sschool, where he is also an assistant girls' basketball coach.
